Regular Season Round 25: Biofarm PZN - Sokol Lancut 86-75

Very important is a road loss of third ranked Sokol Lancut (17-6) against tenth ranked Biofarm PZN (10-13) on Saturday night. Visiting Sokol Lancut was defeated by Biofarm PZN in Poznan 86-75. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Sokol Lancut. Biofarm PZN made 16-of-18 charity shots (88.9 percent) during the game. Worth to mention a great performance of point guard Piotr Wieloch (182-94) who helped to win the game recording 21 points and 9 assists. Forward Filip Struski (200-94) contributed with 20 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. Guard Marek Zywert (192-96) answered with 27 points and 7 rebounds and power forward Rafal Kulikowski (205-85, agency: Promotex) added 15 points and 8 rebounds in the effort for Sokol Lancut. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Biofarm PZN moved-up to eighth place, which they share with Enea Astoria. Sokol Lancut at the other side keeps the third position with six games lost. They share it with Polfarmex Kutno. Biofarm PZN will play against Slask (#11) in Wroclaw in the next round. Sokol Lancut will play at home against SKK Siedlce (#15) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
