Regular Season Round 23: Stal SW - Dziki Wwa 93-77

No shocking result in a game in Stalowa Wola where seventh ranked Stal SW (12-9) won against 11th ranked Dziki Wwa (5-15) 93-77 on Saturday. Stal SW made 22-of-27 free shots (81.5 percent) during the game. Dziki Wwa was plagued by 25 personal fouls down the stretch. It was a great evening for point guard Dawid Zagula (185-96) who led his team to a victory scoring 35 points (!!!), 6 rebounds and 4 assists. Leszek Kaczmarski (190-94) helped adding 16 points and 5 assists. Krzysztof Grudzien (196-92) responded with 19 points and 6 rebounds and forward Szymon Janiewski (198-87) scored 15 points and 8 rebounds. Dziki Wwa's coach tested ten players seeing no chance for a win. Stal SW moved-up to fifth place in Group B, which they share with Rosa II Radom. Dziki Wwa lost fourth consecutive game. Newly promoted team keeps the eleventh position with 15 games lost. Stal SW will face Legia 2 W-wa (#13) in Warszawa in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Dziki Wwa will play on the road against the league's leader Syntex Ksiezak in Lowicz and hope to win that game.
