The most interesting game was a derby match between two local teams from Praha: USK Praha (#1) and BLK Praha (#5). USK Praha (18-0) smashed visiting BLK Praha (12-6) by 21 points 94-73. USK Praha made 17-of-20 free shots (85.0 percent) during the game. USK Praha outrebounded BLK Praha 39-28 including 16 on the offensive glass. The best for the losing side was American forward Kristi Bellock (185-90, college: Texas A&M) with a double-double by scoring 29 points and 13 rebounds and international point guard Renata Pudlakova (179-92) scored 16 points. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. USK Praha have an impressive 18-game winning streak. Defending champion maintains first position with 18-0 record. BLK Praha at the other side keeps the fifth place with six games lost. USK Praha are looking forward to face Basket Slovanka MB (#7) in Vodochody in the next round where they are favorite. BLK Praha will play at home against Karlovy Vary and is hoping to prove to their fans that the loss was just an accident.
