Regular Season Round 18: MK Technic - Sokol HK 63-104

Very expected game in Brno where 12th ranked MK Technic (2-16) was crushed by fourth ranked Sokol Hradec Kralove (13-5) 104-63. Sokol Hradec Kralove dominated down low during the game scoring 64 of its points in the paint compared to MK Technic's 30 and made 19-of-22 charity shots (86.4 percent) during the game. Sokol Hradec Kralove forced 20 MK Technic turnovers and outrebounded them 49-24 including a 35-15 advantage in defensive rebounds. Sokol Hradec Kralove players were unselfish on offense dishing 29 assists comparing to just 13 passes made by MK Technic's players. It was a good game for guard Michaela Matuskova (166-97) who led her team to a victory with 22 points and 4 assists. International swingman Kristyna Minarovicova (174-91) contributed with 17 points for the winners. Five Sokol Hradec Kralove and four MK Technic players scored in double figures. Sokol Hradec Kralove moved-up to third place, which they share with KP Brno. MK Technic lost sixteenth consecutive game. They stay at the bottom position with 16 games lost. Sokol Hradec Kralove's next round opponent will be league's second-placed Basketball Nymburk at home and it will be for sure the game of the week. MK Technic's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Brno KP Brno.
