Alab Pilipinas looked well-organized offensively handing out 30 assists. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Alab Pilipinas made 11 blocks. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Alab Pilipinas have an impressive 11-game winning streak. They maintain second position with 11-4 record behind leader Hong Kong ELL. Formosa D. lost thirteenth consecutive game. They stay at the bottom place with 16 games lost. Alab Pilipinas will face Westports MD (#7) in Kuala Lumpur in the next round where they are favorite.
