Very predictable result when third ranked Bisceglie (15-8) smashed at home 8th ranked Teramo (12-11) 76-56 on Sunday. They outrebounded Teramo 42-27 including a 35-21 advantage in defensive rebounds. It was a great evening for point guard Manuel Diomede (189-90, agency: Two Points) who led his team to a victory scoring 15 points and 6 rebounds. Swingman Luca Castelluccia (202-86) helped adding 11 points and 6 rebounds. Five Bisceglie players scored in double figures. Naturalized Romanian Victor Osmatescu (201-96) responded with 14 points and 9 rebounds and swingman Valerio Staffieri (196-92) scored 11 points. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Bisceglie maintains third place in B with 15-8 record having six points less than leader San Severo, which they share with Vicenza and Lecco. Loser Teramo dropped to the ninth position with 11 games lost. Bisceglie will face Senigallia (#4) on the road in the next round. Teramo will play against Perugia (#15) and hope to win that game.
