Regular Season Round 23: Zaglebie - Rybnik 107-94

Everything went according to plan in Sosnowiec where fifth ranked Zaglebie (13-9) beat 13th ranked Rybnik (6-17) 107-94 on Sunday. Zaglebie shot 61.8 percent from the field and made 25-of-32 free shots (78.1 percent) during the game. They shot the lights out from three sinking 14 long-distance shots on high 53.8 percentage. Zaglebie looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists comparing to just 13 passes made by Rybnik's players. Rybnik was plagued by 27 personal fouls down the stretch. It was a great evening for point guard Pawel Jurczynski (183-91) who led his team to a victory scoring 32 points and 4 assists. Swingman Kamil Wojciak (193-85) helped adding 16 points and 13 assists. Forward Adam Bialdyga (198-87) responded with 16 points, 5 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals and forward Krzysztof Zielinski (192-82) scored 19 points. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Zaglebie moved-up to fourth place in Group C, which they share with Wisla Krakow. Loser Rybnik keeps the thirteenth position with 17 games lost. Zaglebie will face Przemysl (#9) on the road in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Rybnik will play against Polonia Bytom (#8) and hope to win that game.
