Very important is a road loss of second ranked Neustadt TSV (14-4) against seventh ranked Goetting.ASC (10-9) on Saturday night. Visiting Neustadt TSV was defeated by Goetting.ASC in a tough game in Goettingen 84-91. Neustadt TSV was plagued by 28 personal fouls down the stretch. Swingman Nick Boakye (197-95) notched a double-double by scoring 28 points and 18 rebounds (on 11-of-14 shooting from the field) to lead the effort and guard Andrew Onwuegbuzie (192-95) supported him with 29 points and 5 rebounds. Even 23 points by British guard Rishi Kakad (188-87, college: Hawaii Pacific) did not help to save the game for Neustadt TSV. Mubarak Salami (197-96) added 13 points for lost side. Neustadt TSV's coach Allen Smith rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Newly promoted Goetting.ASC maintains seventh position in North with 10-9 record. Neustadt TSV at the other side, also newcomer in the league, keeps the second place with four games lost. Goetting.ASC will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Neustadt TSV's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Neustadt Weser Bsk/BTS.
