The game in Nassjo supposed to be also worth to mention about. Third ranked Boras Basket (13-10) played at the court of 8th ranked Nassjo (4-18). Boras Basket did not have too big problems ending evening with a very confident victory 96-79. The game without a history. Boras Basket led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Boras Basket outrebounded Nassjo 41-22 including a 35-18 advantage in defensive rebounds. Forward Simon Gunnarsson (198-95) orchestrated the victory by scoring 18 points and 6 rebounds (perfect from the field making all eight shots !!!). The former international swingman Fredrik Andersson (202-93) contributed with 17 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. Five Boras Basket players scored in double figures. Boras Basket's coach Henrik Svensson allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. American guard Angelo Griffis (196-92, college: Rochester, MI) answered with 20 points and Serbian center Dusan Sisic (206-90) added 18 points in the effort for Nassjo. Boras Basket maintains third place with 13-10 record having four points less than leader Norrkoping. Nassjo lost seventh consecutive game. They stay at the bottom position with 18 games lost. Boras Basket will play against Umea (#6) at home in the next round. Nassjo will play against Sodertalje Kings and hopes to get back on the winning track.
