An interesting game for Sokol Pisek (14-7) which hosted in Pisek BK Prostejov B (9-11). Sokol Pisek had an easy win 109-74. Sokol Pisek had a 31-17 advantage in offensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 31 assists comparing to just 13 passes made by BK Prostejov B's players. It was an exceptional evening for swingman Petr Slechta (192-95) who led the winners with a triple-double by scoring 38 points (!!!), 10 rebounds, 10 assists and 5 steals. Forward Milan Spicak (198-90) accounted for 23 points and 8 rebounds (on 11-of-14 shooting from the field) for the winning side. Four Sokol Pisek players scored in double figures. Guard Stepan Borovka (194-0) came up with 17 points and 5 rebounds and swingman Frantisek Vana (192-98) added 12 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists respectively for BK Prostejov B in the defeat. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Sokol Pisek will meet Ostrava (#5) on the road in the next round. BK Prostejov B will play against Nymburk B and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
