Regular Season Round 19: Brahe Basket - Haga BG 60-94

Bottom-ranked Brahe Basket (0-15) tried to put together a comeback for its first victory of the season, but they fell short in the 94-60 loss to fourth ranked Haga BG (9-4) in Huskvarna on Sunday evening. They also forced 23 Brahe Basket turnovers. It was a great evening for point guard Felix Terins (166-98) who led his team to a victory scoring 29 points, 8 rebounds, 5 assists and 5 steals. Guard Vincent Taylor (183-98) helped adding 24 points and 5 rebounds. Coach David Bergstrom's team controlled all game and the coach could let to play 10 players and allowed the starting five to rest. At the losing side guard Tanju Yulman (187-90) responded with 17 points and 9 rebounds and Alexander Johansson (-94) scored 15 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists. Four Brahe Basket players scored in double figures. The victory was the fourth consecutive win for Haga BG. They moved-up to third place. Brahe Basket lost their fifteenth game in a row. Brahe Basket at the other side, also newcomer in the league, still closes the standings with 15 games lost. Haga BG will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Brahe Basket will play against Hammarby (#4) in Stockholm and hopes to get finally their first victory.
