We could consider it a predictable result in the game between close teams when sixth ranked Hokkaido L. (21-19) outplayed 5th ranked Nishinomiya S. (7-33) in Saporro 109-74 on Monday. Hokkaido L. shot 61.4 percent from the field. It was a great shooting night for Hokkaido L. especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 60.0 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 30 assists comparing to just 17 passes made by Nishinomiya S.'s players. Canadian-Italian power forward Marc Trasolini (206-90, college: Santa Clara) orchestrated the victory by scoring 19 points, 5 rebounds and 4 blocks. The former international guard Ryota Sakurai (194-83) contributed with 15 points and 5 assists for the winners. Four Hokkaido L. players scored in double figures. American forward Herbert Hill (208-84, college: Providence) replied with 23 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists and his fellow American import power forward Cameron Ridley (206-93, college: Texas) added 16 points and 10 rebounds in the effort for Nishinomiya S.The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Hokkaido L. moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Tochigi Brex. Nishinomiya S. lost ninth consecutive game. Newly promoted team keeps the fifth position with 33 games lost.
