Quarter-Finals Round 1: Fyllingen BBK - Froya Basket 114-92

It looked good early as Froya Basket took a 5-point small lead at the end of first quarter. But then Fyllingen BBK had a 29-14 second period charge getting the lead and Froya Basket was not able to take back game control losing it eventually 92-114. They outrebounded Froya Basket 42-26 including a 30-16 advantage in defensive rebounds. Fyllingen BBK shot the lights out from three nailing 17 long-distance shots on high 54.8 percentage. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 31 assists. They brought some defensive toughness making 8 blocks. Worth to mention a great performance of Serbian guard Ognjen Nisavic (195-92) who helped to win the game recording 40 points (!!!), 6 rebounds and 5 assists. Lithuanian forward Vilius Sumskis (215-84, agency: Interperformances) contributed with 25 points, 9 rebounds and 4 blocks for the winners. Coach Tore Ervik's team controlled all game and the coach could let to play 11 players and allowed the starting five to rest. Latvian guard Reno Silavs (181-91) answered with 21 points, 5 assists and 4 steals and American forward Jamell Harris (206-91, college: E.Michigan) added 15 points and 10 rebounds in the effort for Froya Basket.
