The game between closely ranked teams ended with 10th ranked Orchesien BC's (10-13) road loss to ninth ranked Lorient (12-12) 69-74 on Tuesday. Lorient looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. Orchesien BC was plagued by 28 personal fouls down the stretch. The best player for the winners was guard Mathieu Bigote (190-84) who had a double-double by scoring 13 points and 11 assists. Lithuanian center Dominykas Milka (203-92, college: St.Rose, NY) chipped in 18 points. Four Lorient players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was American forward TJ Robinson (203-89, college: Long Beach St.) who recorded a double-double by scoring 15 points and 10 rebounds and his fellow American import guard Robert Turner (190-93, college: Texas Tech) added 12 points and 8 rebounds respectively. Lorient moved-up to seventh place, which they share with ALS Basket. Loser Orchesien BC keeps the tenth position with 13 games lost. Lorient will face bottom-ranked CFBB (#18) in Paris in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Orchesien BC will play at home against Aubenas (#16) and hope to win that game.
