Quarter-Finals Round 2: Ammerud Bskt - Asker Aliens 66-97

Asker Aliens stormed past Ammerud to sweep the quarterfinal series. The game was mostly controlled by Asker Aliens. Ammerud Bskt was better in third quarter 15-13. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Asker Aliens forced 20 Ammerud Bskt turnovers. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 26 assists. DR Congolese forward Djo Yele (203-82) notched a double-double by scoring 13 points and 13 rebounds to lead the effort and guard Stian Berg (187-91, college: Nova SE, agency: Dynamics Global Management) supported him with 12 points and 11 assists. Berg is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top summer league for players who want to play basketball overseas. Five Asker Aliens players scored in double figures. Asker Aliens' coach felt very confident that he used 10 players and allowed the starting five to rest. Even a double-double of 21 points and 10 rebounds by British center Morakinyo Williams (210-88, college: Citadel, agency: Interperformances) did not help to save the game for Ammerud Bskt. Guard Samuel-Amed Diomande (193-88) added 16 points and 7 rebounds for the hosts.
