Very important is a home loss of third ranked Lokomotiv-2 (23-9) against fifth ranked CSKA Junior (15-17) on Friday night. Host Lokomotiv-2 was crushed by CSKA Junior in Krasnodar 88-66. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Lokomotiv-2. CSKA Junior made 26-of-32 charity shots (81.3 percent) during the game. They also forced 19 Lokomotiv-2 turnovers. 27 personal fouls committed by Lokomotiv-2 helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. The best player for the winners was guard Aleksandr Ershov (197-0, agency: Stanislav Ryzhov) who had a double-double by scoring 34 points (!!!), 10 rebounds and 4 assists. Andrey Lopatin (208-98, agency: Stanislav Ryzhov) chipped in 19 points. At the other side the best for losing team was center Kirill Popov (202-98) who recorded a double-double by scoring 10 points and 10 rebounds and point guard Valentin Rogkustov (187-0) added 8 points and 7 rebounds respectively. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. CSKA Junior maintains fifth place with 15-17 record. Lokomotiv-2 at the other side keeps the third position with nine games lost. CSKA Junior will have a break next round. Lokomotiv-2 will play at home against Parma-2 and hope to win that game.
