The game in Nassjo was also quite interesting. Second ranked Norrkoping Dolphins (18-7) played at the court of 8th ranked Nassjo (4-20). Norrkoping Dolphins did not have too big problems and got a relatively easy victory 87-70 on Friday. The game was mostly controlled by Norrkoping Dolphins. Nassjo managed to win fourth quarter 24-21. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Norrkoping Dolphins shot 61.2 percent from the field and made 19-of-21 free shots (90.5 percent) during the game. Norrkoping Dolphins outrebounded Nassjo 28-15 including a 25-12 advantage in defensive rebounds. American guard Gerry Blakes (193-93, college: Arizona St.) fired 15 points and 6 rebounds (made all of his nine free throws !!!) for the winners. The former international center Joakim Kjellbom (212-79, college: N.Arizona) chipped in 12 points and 7 rebounds. Four Norrkoping Dolphins players scored in double figures. Naturalized American guard David Czerapowicz (189-99) produced 15 points and Serbian center Dusan Sisic (206-90) added 9 points and 5 rebounds (made all of his seven free throws) respectively for lost side. Both coaches tested many bench players saving starting five for next games. Norrkoping Dolphins maintains second place with 18-7 record having just one point less than leader BC Lulea. Nassjo lost ninth consecutive game. They stay dead last with 20 lost games. Norrkoping Dolphins will meet at home Sodertalje Kings (#4) in the next round. Nassjo will play against Uppsala Basket (#7) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
