There was no surprise in Las Palmas where 10th ranked Gran Canaria II (9-14) was edged by third ranked Almansa (17-5) 83-82 on Saturday. Gran Canaria II trailed by 11 points after 3 quarters before a 28-18 run in the last quarter cut the deficit to 82-83 at the end of the game. Almansa forced 21 Gran Canaria II turnovers.
