Regular Season Round 3: Corinthians - Blumenau 74-66

The game between Top Four teams took place in Sao Paulo. host Corinthians (4-0) defeated Blumenau (2-2) 74-66. It was an exceptional evening for point guard Gustavinho Lima (178-85) who led the winners and scored 20 points and 4 assists. The former international point guard Humberto Gomes (195-95) accounted for 16 points and 5 assists for the winning side. Four Corinthians players scored in double figures. Corinthians' coach Bruno Savignani allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Forward Bruno Lazzaris (202-90) came up with 10 points and 7 rebounds and Luiz Semmke (197-92) added 13 points respectively for Blumenau in the defeat. Corinthians will play against Londrina (#7) at home in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Blumenau will play against Brusque (#8) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
