Regular Season Round 25: CFBB - Lorient 68-82

No shocking result in a game when eighth ranked Lorient (13-12) beat bottom-ranked CFBB (1-24) in Paris 82-68 on Saturday. Lorient shot 63.6 percent from the field and had 23 for 31 from the free-throw line, while CFBB only scored seven points from the stripe. It was a very good performance for Jason Bach (198-87) who helped to win the game recording 20 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists (made all of his nine free throws !!!). Lithuanian center Dominykas Milka (203-92, college: St.Rose, NY) contributed with 19 points and 7 rebounds (on 8-of-9 shooting from the field) for the winners. Four Lorient players scored in double figures. Forward Ivan Fevrier (204-99) answered with 16 points, 7 rebounds, 6 assists and 5 steals and guard Timothe Crusol (185-1) added 15 points in the effort for CFBB. CFBB's coach Jean-Aime Toupane let to play ten players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Lorient moved-up to seventh place. Loser CFBB stay dead last with 24 lost games. Lorient will face SAP Vaucluse (#14) in Sorgues in the next round and are hoping to win another game. CFBB will play on the road against Aubenas (#16) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
