Regular Season Round 22: Gravelines - Chalon 81-86

Worth to mention about the upset in a game between Gravelines-Dunkerque (10-12) and Chalon/Saor (8-14), which took place in Gravelines. Higher ranked Gravelines-Dunkerque lost at home to sixteenth ranked Chalon/Saor 81-86 on Monday. The guests took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Gravelines-Dunkerque won third quarter 26-24. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Chalon/Saor made 20-of-24 free shots (83.3 percent) during the game. It was a very good performance for American point guard Nate Wolters (193-91, college: S.Dakota St., agency: Pensack Sports) who helped to win the game recording 33 points (!!!) and 7 assists. The other American import guard Lance Harris (195-84, college: Kansas St.) contributed with 16 points for the winners. Chalon/Saor's coach Jean-Denys Choulet used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. Naturalized Congolese Jean-Michel Mipoka (198-85) replied with 20 points and 7 rebounds and American forward Terry Allen (203-93, college: Richmond) added 14 points in the effort for Gravelines-Dunkerque. Defending champion maintains sixteenth position with 8-14 record. Loser Gravelines-Dunkerque keeps the tenth place with 12 games lost. Chalon/Saor will face higher ranked Chalons-Reims (#13) at home in the next round and it may be quite challenging game.
