Quarter-Finals Round 3: HBA-Marsky - Korikouvot 81-75

HBA-Marsky knocked down visiting Korikouvot to take 2-1 advantage. Korikouvot was tied after three quarters but could not keep up in the last quarter eventually losing the game. They outrebounded Korikouvot 47-36 including a 22-9 advantage in offensive rebounds. It was a great evening for forward Mikael Jantunen (203-0) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 17 rebounds. International forward Elias Valtonen (198-99) helped adding 13 points and 9 rebounds. HBA-Marsky's coach Antti Koskelainen used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The best for the losing side was swingman Vili Nyman (198-98) with 15 points and 9 rebounds and American forward Kenneth Hall (201-93, college: W.Carolina) scored 13 points, 9 rebounds and 5 blocks. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures.
