An interesting game took place in Opava where higher ranked GBA Sparta (11-12) was upset on the court of seventeenth ranked B&W Opava B (10-13) 91-73 on Friday. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of GBA Sparta. Guard Lukas Bukovjan (185-98) stepped up and scored 27 points and 8 assists for the winners and center Jiri Stepanek (201-98) chipped in 21 points and 9 rebounds. Four B&W Opava B players scored in double figures. B&W Opava B's coach used entire bench and allowed the starting five to get some rest. Slovakian guard Milan Janosov (192-99) responded with 19 points and 7 rebounds and American guard Allen Jiles-IV (190, college: Slippery Rock) scored 13 points and 5 assists. B&W Opava B moved-up to sixteenth place in Places 13-20, which they share with Sokol Prazky. Loser GBA Sparta keeps the thirteenth position with 12 games lost. B&W Opava B will face higher ranked BK Loko Plzen (#13) on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
