LEB Gold top team - Leche Rio Breogan (22-5) had no problems winning another game on Friday. This time they crushed fifteenth ranked Barca II (9-18) in Lugo 105-64. The game without a history. Leche Rio Breogan led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 78 of its points in the paint compared to Barca II's 36. They outrebounded Barca II 52-31 including a 35-21 advantage in defensive rebounds. Leche Rio Breogan looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. It was a quality performance for Brazilian forward Leonardo Demetrio (208-94) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 20 points and 10 rebounds (on 8-of-9 shooting from the field). Bosnian-Finnish power forward Emir Sulejmanovic (204-95) accounted for 12 points and 14 rebounds for the winning side. Five Leche Rio Breogan players scored in double figures. Leche Rio Breogan's coach Natxo Lezcano felt very confident that he used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Naturalized Bosnian Nedim Djedovic (205-97, agency: BeoBasket) came up with 13 points and 6 rebounds and swingman Aleix Font (192-98) added 11 points and 5 rebounds respectively for Barca II in the defeat. Leche Rio Breogan maintains first place with 22-5 record. Loser Barca II keeps the fifteenth position with 18 games lost. They share it with Sammic ISB and Palma. Leche Rio Breogan will meet Palma (#17) in the next round which should be another easy win for them. Barca II will play against Cocinas.com and hope to secure a win.
