Regular Season Round 22: Psychiko - Iraklis 61-58

The most important game in the last round took place in Athens between third ranked Iraklis (16-6) and tenth ranked Psychiko (10-12) on Saturday night. Iraklis was edged by Psychiko in a tough game on the road 58-61. The hosts were tied at the half but managed to speed up in last two quarters eventually winning the game. Worth to mention a great performance of forward Petros Noeas (204-87) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 19 points and 16 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field). Point guard Thomas Nikou (185-80) contributed with 12 points and 7 assists for the winners. Guard Yannis Gagaloudis (192-78) replied with 14 points and 5 assists and the former international power forward Dimitris Haritopoulos (205-83) added 11 points and 11 rebounds in the effort for Iraklis. Four Iraklis players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Psychiko moved-up to ninth place, which they share with Ermis Agias. Iraklis at the other side keeps the third position with six games lost. Psychiko's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Athens to the arena Marousi.
