There was no surprise when 6th ranked Bambitious Nara (11-33) was defeated on the road by second ranked Kumamoto V. (32-12) 71-64 on Saturday. Kumamoto V. outrebounded Bambitious Nara 46-33 including 33 on the defensive glass. Bambitious Nara was plagued by 28 personal fouls down the stretch. The best player for the winners was Dutch-Australian power forward Josh Duinker (209-89, college: Richmond) who scored 14 points and 9 rebounds. Power forward Ryota Nakanishi (199-88) chipped in a double-double by scoring 10 points and 12 rebounds. Four Kumamoto V. players scored in double figures. American forward Joshua Dollard (203-86, college: Auburn) produced 17 points and his fellow American import power forward Gary Hamilton (208-84, college: Miami, FL, agency: Inception Sports) added 6 points and 6 rebounds respectively for the guests. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Kumamoto V. have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain second position with 32-12 record having just five point less than leader Akita NH. Loser Bambitious Nara keeps the sixth place with 33 games lost.
