Regular Season Round 21: Akropol - Nacka Basket 65-88

Very predictable result in Stockholm where fourth ranked Nacka Basket (12-6) smashed 11th ranked Akropol (3-16) 88-65 on Saturday. The game was mostly controlled by Nacka Basket. Akropol managed to win second period 27-19. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Akropol to just 6 points in third quarter. They outrebounded Akropol 45-31 including a 34-19 advantage in defensive rebounds. The best player for the winners was point guard Caleb Musie (175-95) who scored 23 points and 6 assists. Swingman Mustafa Dibba (186-95) chipped in a double-double by scoring 16 points and 11 rebounds. Five Nacka Basket players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was guard Baba Dibba (183-97) who recorded 22 points and 5 rebounds and Diego-Gonzalez Morin (-93) added 17 points and 9 rebounds respectively. Newly promoted Nacka Basket maintains fourth place with 12-6 record. Akropol at the other side, also newcomer in the league, keeps the eleventh position with 16 games lost. Nacka Basket will meet league's second-placed KFUM Blackeberg in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Akropol will play against Jamtland II (#8) in Ostersund and hope to secure a win.
