No shocking result in a game when first ranked Muenster (22-2) beat on the road 11th ranked Hagen-Haspe (5-19) 98-84 on Saturday. Muenster looked well-organized offensively handing out 31 assists comparing to just 12 passes made by Hagen-Haspe's players. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Muenster made 7 blocks. Quite impressive performance for American guard Brandon McGill (185-89, college: St.Vincent) who helped to win the game recording a triple-double by scoring 10 points, 10 rebounds and 13 assists. Forward Andrej Koenig (195-87) contributed with 16 points for the winners. Muenster's coach Phillip Kappenstein used entire bench saving starting five for next games. American point guard Jeremy Lewis (185-86, college: St.Thomas, TX) answered with a double-double by scoring 39 points (!!!), 10 rebounds and 4 assists and center Arbnor Voca (203-99) added 13 points, 6 rebounds and 4 blocks in the effort for Hagen-Haspe. Five Muenster and four Hagen-Haspe players scored in double figures. The victory was the eighth consecutive win for Muenster. They maintain first place in West with 22-2 record.
