Regular Season Round 26: RAC Basket - Orchies 99-87

Very expected game when 11th ranked Orchesien BC (11-14) was defeated on the road by third ranked Rueil (19-7) 99-87 on Saturday. Rueil looked well-organized offensively handing out 32 assists. Senegalese guard Lamine Sambe (188-89) scored 18 points and 7 assists to lead the charge for the winners and American center Kyle Tresnak (208-92, college: Weber St., agency: Athleadz) chipped in 15 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists during the contest. Five Rueil players scored in double figures. Rueil's coach Julien Hervy used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. American guard Robert Turner (190-93, college: Texas Tech) responded with 24 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists and his fellow American import forward TJ Robinson (203-89, college: Long Beach St.) scored 25 points. Rueil maintains third position with 19-7 record having three points less than leader Gries/Oberhoffen. Orchesien BC at the other side dropped to the twelfth place with 14 games lost. Rueil will face bottom-ranked CFBB (#18) in Paris in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Orchesien BC will play at home against the league's second-placed Saint Vallier (#2) and hope to win that game.
