An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Sofia. First ranked CSKA faced 3rd placed Balkan 2. Host CSKA (7-1) defeated guests from Botevgrad (5-4) 63-55. CSKA outrebounded Balkan 2 45-33 including 36 on the defensive glass. Forward Georgi Kenderov (196-99) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 22 points, 12 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners and swingman Emiliyan Grudov (195-1) chipped in 8 points and 19 rebounds. The best for the losing side was swingman Radoslav Kochev (195-95) with 21 points and 9 rebounds and guard Zdravko Hristov (184-97) scored 13 points and 8 assists. CSKA maintains first place in A with 7-1 record. Newly promoted Balkan 2 keeps the third position with four games lost. CSKA's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Sofia Akademik Sofia.
