Hamar upset Snaefell on the road to open 2-0 advantage. Snaefell was ahead by 2 points at the halftime before a 51-34 second half run of Hamar. They dominated down low during the game scoring 58 of its points in the paint compared to Snaefell's 28 and made 19-of-24 charity shots (79.2 percent) during the game. American guard Larry Thomas (185-93, college: Birm.Southern) orchestrated the victory by scoring 31 points and 5 rebounds. The other American import guard Julian Nelson (196, college: Coker) contributed with 22 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. Thomas is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Hamar's coach Ingvarsson Petur allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. American guard Christian Covile (193-93, college: Adrian) replied with 24 points and 8 rebounds and point guard Geir Helgason (180-96) added 22 points and 5 assists in the effort for Snaefell. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures.
