Maccabi Ashdod eased past Elitzur Holon to take 1-0 lead in the series. The game without a history. Maccabi Ashdod led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 22 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of American point guard Chelsea Hopkins (173-90, college: San Diego St., agency: Ron Sport) who helped to win the game recording 18 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists. Power forward Tiffany Jackson (191-85, college: Texas) contributed with a double-double by scoring 12 points, 15 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners. Four Maccabi Ashdod players scored in double figures. Maccabi Ashdod's coach Adan Inbar allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. American swingman Crystal Bradford (183-93, college: Cent.Michigan, agency: LBM Management) answered with a double-double by scoring 21 points, 13 rebounds, 4 assists and 5 steals and the other American import center Danielle Adams (185-89, college: Texas A&M) added 21 points and 13 rebounds in the effort for Elitzur Holon.
