Not a big story in a game when 11th ranked Politehnica Iasi (4-18) was defeated at home by seventh ranked Craiova (11-11) 95-86 on Wednesday. The guests started the game with a very strong first quarter 35-20. But Politehnica Iasi won second period 24-20. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Craiova looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. Croatian swingman Ivan Siriscevic (198-87, agency: PEPI SPORT) fired 26 points for the winners. Serbian power forward Nemanja Aleksandrov (210-87) chipped in 9 points, 13 rebounds and 9 assists. Serbian Andrija Bojic (207-93, agency: BeoBasket) produced a double-double by scoring 27 points and 10 rebounds and American guard Tayloe Taylor (191-86, college: Livingstone) added 16 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists respectively for lost side. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Craiova maintains seventh position with 11-11 record. Politehnica Iasi lost third consecutive game. Newly promoted team keeps the eleventh place with 18 games lost.
