Quarter-Finals Round 2: Randers - Horsholm 94-80

Randers overcame Horsholm to even the series at 1-1. It looked good early as Horsholm took a 3-point small lead at the end of first quarter. But then Randers had a 27-21 second period charge getting the lead and Horsholm was not able to take back game control losing it eventually 80-94. Randers made 26-of-31 charity shots (83.9 percent) during the game. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 22 assists. Randers brought some defensive toughness making 7 blocks. 24 personal fouls committed by Horsholm helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. American forward Kyndahl Hill (201-94, college: Weber St.) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 26 points and 11 rebounds. The former international guard Chris Nielsen (193-85) contributed with 27 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists for the winners. American forward Matt Bonds (196-95, college: St.Michael's, agency: Duran International) replied with a double-double by scoring 23 points and 10 rebounds and Nigerian forward Tosin Mehinti (206-94, college: UAB) added 13 points, 7 rebounds and 6 blocks in the effort for Horsholm. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Horsholm's coach Rafael Monclova tested eleven players and allowed the starting five to get some rest.
