An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Kosice. Third ranked Basket Kosice faced one of their biggest challengers Olomouc Bbal. Host Basket Kosice (15-8) smashed guests from Olomouc (13-11) 107-74. Basket Kosice dominated down low during the game scoring 68 of its points in the paint compared to Olomouc Bbal's 36. They outrebounded Olomouc Bbal 49-25 including a 36-21 advantage in defensive rebounds. Basket Kosice players were unselfish on offense dishing 29 assists comparing to just 16 passes made by Olomouc Bbal's players. Forward Jan Kratochvil (200-82) notched 17 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists to lead the effort and power forward Dusan Hlavacek (197-77) supported him with 18 points and 7 rebounds. Coach 's team controlled all game and the coach could let to play 11 players and allowed the starting five to rest. Even 23 points and 8 rebounds by center Jakub Sedlak (209-89) did not help to save the game for Olomouc Bbal. Forward Adam Urbanek (196-93) added 16 points. Five Basket Kosice and four Olomouc Bbal players scored in double figures. Basket Kosice maintains third position in Places 1-6 with 15-8 record having just two point less than leader Loko Plzen. Olomouc Bbal at the other side keeps the fourth place with 11 games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
