Semi-Finals Game 3: Hamar - Snaefell 104-98

Hamar rallied past Snaefell to sweep the semifinal series. The hosts trailed by 5 points after three quarters before their 28-17 charge, which allowed them to win the game. Hamar forced 20 Snaefell turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. The best player for the winners was American guard Larry Thomas (185-93, college: Birm.Southern) who scored 22 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists. His fellow American import guard Julian Nelson (196, college: Coker) chipped in 17 points and 5 rebounds. Thomas is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Hamar's coach Ingvarsson Petur used an eleven-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the other side the best for losing team was American guard Christian Covile (193-93, college: Adrian) who recorded a double-double by scoring 41 points (!!!), 18 rebounds and 6 assists and point guard Geir Helgason (180-96) added 16 points and 5 rebounds respectively. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures.
