Capitanes upset Fuerza Regia on the road to secure 3-1 lead in the series. Capitanes made 22-of-28 charity shots (78.6 percent) during the game. Capitanes outrebounded Fuerza Regia 32-21 including 22 on the defensive glass. Worth to mention a great performance of Dominican guard Rigoberto Mendoza (190-92) who helped to win the game recording 22 points and 9 rebounds. Panamanian forward Ernesto Oglivie (203-89) contributed with 21 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Four Capitanes players scored in double figures. American forward Ricardo Powell (199-83, college: S.Carolina) replied with 26 points and 6 rebounds and his fellow American import forward Jordan Glynn (200-89, college: SF Austin) added 16 points in the effort for Fuerza Regia. Fuerza Regia's coach Paco Olmos rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help.
