Regular Season Round 27: BC Lulea - Jamtland 89-70

An interesting game for BC Lulea (21-6) which hosted in Lulea 3rd placed KFUM Jamtland (14-13). First ranked BC Lulea had an easy win 89-70. The game was mostly controlled by BC Lulea. KFUM Jamtland managed to win fourth quarter 23-20. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. It was a good game for Canadian forward Yannick Anzuluni (205-87, college: Houghton) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 27 points and 12 rebounds. The former international Tom Liden (203-87) contributed with 20 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. Four BC Lulea players scored in double figures. BC Lulea's coach Peter Oqvist used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Niklas Larsson (199-94) answered with 16 points and 6 rebounds and Estonian swingman Jaan Puidet (191-92) added 9 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists in the effort for KFUM Jamtland. BC Lulea have an impressive series of five victories in a row. Defending champion maintains first place with 21-6 record. KFUM Jamtland at the other side keeps the third position with 13 games lost. They share it with Sodertalje. BC Lulea are looking forward to face bottom-ranked Nassjo (#8) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. KFUM Jamtland will play against Boras Basket (#6) and is hoping to prove to their supporters that this time they can win.
