We should mention about the upset which took place in Challans, where higher ranked Vendee Challans (15-12) was outleveled at home by eleventh ranked ALS Basket (13-14) 83-64 on Saturday. The game was dominated by American players. The best player for the winners was point guard Brandon Clark (183-93, college: Santa Clara) who scored 22 points and 4 assists. Forward Jonathan Mitchell (201-87, college: Rutgers, agency: Inception Sports) chipped in 18 points and 6 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was guard Jordan Barham (193-94, college: Davidson) who recorded a double-double by scoring 16 points and 11 rebounds and power forward Steffon Bradford (198-77, college: Nebraska) added 19 points and 7 rebounds respectively. ALS Basket moved-up to eighth place, which they share with Boulogne. Vendee Challans lost third consecutive game. They keep the sixth position with 12 games lost. ALS Basket will face higher ranked Saint-Quentin (#4) at home in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
