Second Stage Round 6: Kralovsti sokoli - Basket Kosice 110-85

An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Hradec Kralove. First ranked Kralovsti sokoli faced 3rd ranked Basket Kosice. Host Kralovsti sokoli (22-2) smashed guests from Kosice (15-8) 110-85. Kralovsti sokoli players were unselfish on offense dishing 30 assists comparing to just 12 passes made by Basket Kosice's players. It was a good game for American guard Charlie Marquardt (190-95, college: Molloy) who led his team to a victory with 36 points (!!!) and 4 assists (on 13-of-16 shooting from the field). Forward Jan Jiricek (203-90) contributed with a double-double by scoring 20 points, 12 rebounds and 6 assists for the winners. Forward Jan Kratochvil (200-82) replied with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 13 rebounds and swingman Jan Nekolny (192-91) added 21 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Basket Kosice. Four Basket Kosice players scored in double figures. Kralovsti sokoli maintains first position in Places 1-6 with 22-2 record. Basket Kosice at the other side keeps the third place with eight games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
