Regular Season Round 23: LF Future - Djurgarden 68-91

Very predictable result in Lulea where second ranked Djurgarden (19-5) smashed bottom-ranked LF Future (2-21) 91-68. The game without a history. Djurgarden led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Djurgarden outrebounded LF Future 56-29 including a 18-5 advantage in offensive rebounds. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists comparing to just 8 passes made by LF Future's players. American swingman Langston Morris-Walker (196-94, college: Oregon St.) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 23 points and 19 rebounds. Serbian center Dragoljub Kitanovic (203-85, agency: BeoBasket) contributed with a double-double by scoring 20 points, 12 rebounds and 5 assists (was perfect 8-for-8 from the free throw line) for the winners. Four Djurgarden players scored in double figures. American guard Brian Curry (185-86) answered with 35 points (!!!) and 7 rebounds and naturalized Serbian guard Stefan Zivkovic (185-93) added 20 points in the effort for LF Future. Djurgarden maintains second place with 19-5 record having just two points less than leader Koping Stars, which they share with Wetterbygden. LF Future lost their nineteenth game in a row. They stay dead last with 21 lost games. Djurgarden's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Stockholm to the arena .
