We could consider it a predictable result in the game between close teams when fifth ranked Chernomorets (3-7) beat one of their biggest challengers Vidabasket (4-5) in Burgas 94-76 on Sunday. Chernomorets forced 22 Vidabasket turnovers and outrebounded them 47-30 including a 20-7 advantage in offensive rebounds. Chernomorets looked well-organized offensively handing out 36 assists comparing to just 19 passes made by Vidabasket's players. Quite impressive performance for guard Dimitar Naydenov (185-80) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 29 points and 11 rebounds. Swingman Stoyan Milchev (185-95) contributed with a double-double by scoring 20 points, 11 rebounds, 5 assists and 5 steals for the winners. Chernomorets' coach Decho Koeshinov used an eleven-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest. Guard Teodor Nikolov (194-95) replied with 34 points (!!!) and guard Kaloyan Petrov (182-97) added 20 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists in the effort for Vidabasket. Chernomorets maintains fifth position in A with 3-7 record. Loser Vidabasket keeps the fourth place with five games lost.
