IR outrebounded Stjarnan 53-35 including a 18-3 advantage in offensive rebounds. Worth to mention a great performance of American forward Danero Thomas (200-86, college: Murray St.) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 24 points and 21 rebounds. International point guard Matthias Sigurdarson (183-94, college: Columbus St.) contributed with 14 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. International forward Tomas Hilmarsson (201-95, college: Francis Marion) replied with a double-double by scoring 21 points, 10 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 blocks and American forward Collin Pryor (198-90, college: Northern St., agency: Mansfield and Associates) added 22 points and 8 rebounds in the effort for Stjarnan.
