Pelplin dominated down low during the game scoring 52 of its points in the paint compared to SMS PZKosz's 26 and made 30-of-35 free shots (85.7 percent) during the game, while SMS PZKosz only scored nine points from the stripe. They outrebounded SMS PZKosz 41-15 including a 32-8 advantage in defensive rebounds. It was a great evening for the former international swingman Bartosz Sarzalo (197-83) who led his team to a victory scoring 30 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists. Power forward Pawel Kowalczuk (207-80, college: St.Francis, NY, agency: Promotex) helped adding 11 points and 11 rebounds. Five Pelplin players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was Mateusz Szlachetka (194-99) with 17 points and swingman Hubert Wyszkowski (192-99) scored 7 points and 5 assists. SMS PZKosz's coach Mariusz Niedbalski gave up on the game allowing to play twelve players seeing no chance for a win.
