Quarter-Finals Round 3: Lulea Basket - Mark 91-55

Lulea Basket cruised past visiting Mark to seal their semifinal appearance. The game without a history. Lulea Basket led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 60 of its points in the paint compared to Mark's 30. They outrebounded Mark 57-30 including a 41-21 advantage in defensive rebounds. Lulea Basket players were unselfish on offense dishing 26 assists comparing to just 10 passes made by Mark's players. It was a good game for American center Jennifer Hamson (201-92, college: BYU, agency: LBM Management) who led her team to a victory with 18 points and 9 rebounds. The former international forward Anna Barthold (185-80, college: St.Peter's) contributed with 15 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Five Lulea Basket players scored in double figures. Lulea Basket's coach David Visscher felt very confident using 11 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. American power forward Alexis Hyder (180-94, college: LSU) answered with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 17 rebounds and the other American import point guard Janee Thompson (170-93, college: Kentucky, agency: Legends Sports) added 23 points and 6 assists in the effort for Mark.
