Important game to mention about took place in Skopje. MZT Skopje (17-6) saved a 2-point victory at home edging Kumanovo (15-8) 81-79 in the game for the third place. Kumanovo was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. Worth to mention a great performance of Croatian center Jure Lalic (211-86) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 17 points and 10 rebounds. The former international guard Darko Sokolov (189-86) contributed with 12 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. Four MZT Skopje players scored in double figures. International point guard Boban Stajic (185-93) answered with 7 points, 7 rebounds and 14 assists and Serbian forward Mirko Kovac (199-83) added 23 points in the effort for Kumanovo. MZT Skopje will play against Blokotehna in Gevgelija in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Kumanovo will play at home against Ohrid AV and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
