Regular Season Round 23: Tofas - Gaziantep 109-107

Fifteenth-ranked Gaziantep (6-17) made lots of trouble for second ranked Tofas (18-5) in Bursa on Sunday. Tofas managed to secure only two-point victory 109-107. However their fans expected much easier game. Strangely Gaziantep outrebounded Tofas 38-0 including a 14- advantage in offensive rebounds. The game was dominated by American players. The best player for the winners was power forward Raymar Morgan (203-88, college: Michigan St.) who had a double-double by scoring 31 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists. Point guard Pierria Henry (193-93, college: Charlotte) chipped in 20 points, 9 rebounds and 9 assists. Forward Robert Carter (206-94, college: Maryland) produced a double-double by scoring 27 points, 11 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 blocks and Sean Armand (196-91, college: Iona) added 25 points, 5 rebounds and 8 assists respectively for the guests. Five Tofas and four Gaziantep players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Tofas maintains second place with 18-5 record having just two points less than leader Fenerbahce. Gaziantep at the other side keeps the fifteenth position with 17 games lost.
