This derby game ended with only three-point home defeat of Los Prados (0-4) to San Carlos (2-1) 61-58 on Tuesday evening. It was a great evening for Kevin Perez who led his team to a victory scoring 22 points and 5 rebounds. Power forward Manuel Guzman (204-82, college: Bemidji St.) helped adding 9 points and 8 rebounds. The best for the losing side was forward Melvin Richardson (206-85, college: S.Florida) with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 11 rebounds and American forward Gary Flowers (203-86, college: S.Mississippi) scored 11 points and 8 rebounds. Four Los Prados players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. San Carlos are looking forward to face Bameso (#4) in the next round. Los Prados will play against El Million and hope to get finally their first victory.
