KP Brno outgunned Nymburk to take 1-0 lead in the series. Worth to mention a great performance of Romanian Sonia Ursu-Kim (175-93) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 18 points, 12 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 steals. Point guard Gabriela Andelova (173-96) contributed with 17 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. American swingman Krystal Vaughn (185-86, college: VCU) answered with 17 points and guard Patricia Gallasova (178-98) added 10 points in the effort for Basketball Nymburk. Basketball Nymburk's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help.
