Good Angels fired past MBK Ruzomberok to open 1-0 lead in the championship series. Good Angels outrebounded MBK Ruzomberok 41-30 including 28 on the defensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists comparing to just 9 passes made by MBK Ruzomberok's players. Worth to mention a great performance of the former international center Anna Jurcenkova (195-85) who helped to win the game recording 18 points and 5 rebounds. Lithuanian center Daugile Sarauskaite (196-96) contributed with 9 points and 12 rebounds for the winners. Good Angels' coach Peter Jankovic felt very confident using entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. American guard Aaryn Ellenberg (170-92, college: Oklahoma) answered with 16 points and 5 rebounds and the other American import guard Shatori Walker-Kimbrough (180-96, college: Maryland) added 12 points and 4 assists in the effort for MBK Ruzomberok. Four MBK Ruzomberok players scored in double figures.
